Description

The Sonoma Valley is a 222mm diameter mini pendant light with a fluted cream glass shade suspended from a hand-forged bronze scrollwork arm. The metalwork curves upward in a vine-inspired S-scroll, ending in a cast acanthus leaf canopy detail that wraps around the chain attachment point. A single E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) sits inside the cream glass bell, which diffuses light downward while the ribbed texture softens glare.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining table task lighting and entrance hall focal points, the Sonoma Valley hangs on an adjustable drop between 645mm minimum and 2170mm maximum, allowing it to be set 600-700mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The 1524mm chain provides enough length for high-ceilinged period properties, Victorian conversions and open-plan kitchens with 3m+ ceiling heights. Multiple Sonoma Valley pendants can be spaced 600-900mm apart over a long island or peninsula to provide even task light across the work surface.

The cream glass shade is hand-blown with a vertical rib pattern running from rim to crown, which catches and refracts light from the bulb inside. The bronze finish on the scrollwork and chain has a warm patina rather than a polished or lacquered surface, giving it depth under daylight and artificial light. The metalwork is forged steel finished in aged bronze, not painted or powder-coated, so the finish will develop naturally over time. At 60W maximum bulb rating, the pendant pairs well with 6-8W warm-white LED filament bulbs in Edison or globe shapes for both task lighting and decorative glow.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?
