The Sonnino is a four light spotlight bar in black steel, made for the ceiling. A slim straight bar sits beneath a round ceiling plate at its centre, and four heads hang from short stems along its length, each one a rounded wire cage that leaves the bulb on show. It measures 78cm long, 10cm wide and 18.5cm high. Each head takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour of light and the style of bulb yourself. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.

Each head is adjustable, so one bar can do the work of several lights: angle two heads down over a desk or a dining table and turn the others towards a picture, a bookcase or a favourite chair. The open cages and the black finish suit an industrial or warehouse style room, and a clear filament bulb showing through the wires makes the most of the look. It works well in a living room, a hallway, a bedroom or a home office, anywhere a single central light leaves the corners dim.
