Description

The Sonnet is a 12 light crystal chandelier built on a polished gold metal frame with two tiers of scrolling arms, each supporting an E14 candle fitting. Octagonal and round cut crystal pendants hang from the frame and central column, with additional droplets suspended below each bulb holder. The 900mm diameter and 750mm drop suit rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces, the Sonnet provides both ambient light through the twelve bulbs and decorative sparkle from the crystal. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with compatible E14 LED candle bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted for meals or evening use. The velvet chain cover conceals the cable run from ceiling rose to canopy.

The polished gold finish on the metal frame gives a warm metallic accent that works in traditional, classical and warm contemporary interiors. Each crystal pendant is faceted to catch and refract light across multiple surfaces, creating movement and sparkle when the chandelier is lit. The combination of scrollwork arms, candle-style fittings and cascading crystal gives the fitting a classical chandelier silhouette at a 900mm scale that fills the visual space above a 1.8-2.4m dining table without overwhelming smaller rooms.

Manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy, the Sonnet carries a 5 year warranty and an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only. The chandelier requires assembly on installation, with the crystal pendants supplied loose and hung individually from the pre-fitted hooks on the frame.
