Description

The Solisera is a 260mm semi-flush ceiling light with five G9 bulb fittings and cascading crystal strands suspended from a polished chrome ceiling plate. Each strand carries a mix of faceted crystal spheres and octagonal droplets in varying sizes, ranging from approximately 20mm to 60mm diameter, interspersed with smaller clear crystal beads and linked with chrome-plated chain.

Designed for rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights where a full-drop chandelier would hang too low, the semi-flush mount positions the crystal cluster 100-150mm below the ceiling, maintaining clearance over doorways and tall furniture whilst still providing decorative impact. The five G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind frosted white glass cylinders positioned within the crystal mass, diffusing light upward through the ceiling plate and outward through the faceted crystal. Light refracted through the cut crystal creates moving patterns on walls and ceilings as air movement shifts the strands.

The polished chrome frame and chain components provide a cool metallic accent that pairs with chrome taps, cabinet hardware and modern appliance finishes in kitchens, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits use to zones 3 and beyond), hallways and bedrooms. The crystal itself is K9 optical glass, cut and polished to maximise refraction. The entire fitting weighs approximately 2kg when fully assembled with bulbs, requiring a ceiling rose and fixings suitable for that load.

The IP20 rating limits bathroom use to zone 3 and beyond (areas more than 2.4m from a shower head or bath edge). It cannot be used in zones 0, 1 or 2 where moisture and splashing occur.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal element with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome chain or ceiling plate. Do not use household sprays or polishes on the crystal or chrome.
