Description

The Solisera is a 600mm semi-flush crystal ceiling light with a polished gold canopy supporting 12 individual G9 bulb fittings. Faceted crystal spheres and octagon-cut crystals hang on individual drops from the gold base plate, creating a cascading arrangement that sits approximately 300mm from the ceiling when installed. Each of the 12 bulbs sits within the metal frame behind gold-plated sockets, reflecting light through the hanging crystals.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m where a full-drop chandelier would hang too low, the semi-flush configuration provides decorative impact without occupying the vertical space of a pendant. The fitting suits dining rooms, master bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where the ceiling can accommodate a 600mm diameter footprint and the 12-bulb output provides sufficient ambient light for the room size. The fixture is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.

The polished gold finish on the metal canopy and internal frame reflects warm tones when the bulbs are lit, amplifying the glow through the cut crystal. Each crystal pendant is individually threaded onto wire drops, allowing light to pass through the facets and project refracted patterns onto the ceiling and walls. Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The semi-flush design sits approximately 300mm from the ceiling, making it suitable for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. For rooms with 2.4m ceilings the base of the crystals will hang at around 2.1m, leaving clearance above head height in most residential settings.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, when used with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The fixture itself is dimmer-compatible but the final dimming performance depends on the bulb type chosen. LED G9 bulbs require a trailing-edge dimmer rated for LED loads.

How is the crystal maintained?

The crystals can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the bulbs are switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, individual crystal drops can be removed from their wire hangers and cleaned with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dried before re-threading. Avoid household glass cleaners which can leave residue.
