Description

The Solis is a 150mm recessed LED spotlight with an integrated 30W 3000K LED housed in a white die-cast aluminium body. The lamp head rotates through 360° on its horizontal plane and tilts up to 90° from the recessed position, allowing light to be directed at specific objects, architectural features, or room zones rather than straight down.

Designed for installation in plasterboard or panel ceilings in residential and commercial interiors, the Solis suits living rooms, bedrooms, retail displays, galleries and office spaces where directed accent lighting is needed. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that sits between neutral and warm tones, pairing comfortably with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The matt white finish on the body and trim allows the fitting to recede into white ceilings or contrast lightly against darker ceiling tones.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides a stable mount for the adjustable head and dissipates heat from the 30W LED without requiring an external heatsink. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only — the Solis is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor soffits or covered outdoor areas. The 150mm diameter requires a ceiling void depth of approximately 120mm for safe installation and thermal clearance around the housing.

A minimum void depth of approximately 120mm is required behind the plasterboard or panel ceiling to accommodate the housing and allow adequate thermal clearance around the fitting. Check the exact housing depth in the specification before cutting the ceiling aperture.
