Description

The Solarium is a 50mm recessed ground light for walkways, with an IP67-rated black resin body and a 3000K warm white G9 LED. It sits flush with paving, decking or resin-bound paths and casts a low pool of warm light upwards through its diffuser, marking a path edge or patio border without glare.

It is rated for foot traffic only and is not suitable for driveways or any area where vehicles drive or park. For driveways, choose one of our drive-over ground lights, which are rated to carry vehicles up to 5,000kg.

The IP67 rating makes it fully dust-tight and waterproof, so it can be installed where rain pools or paving is pressure-washed. The high-performance resin body resists corrosion, fertilisers and UV fading, and copes with temperatures from -60°C to +90°C. Installation is into a 45mm cut-out using the recessing sleeve supplied, and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

No. The Solarium is rated for foot traffic only. For driveways and parking areas, please choose one of our drive-over ground lights, which are rated to carry vehicles up to 5,000kg.

What size hole is needed?

A 45mm cut-out. The recessing sleeve supplied is set into the ground first, with gravel beneath for drainage, and the light then slots into it.

Is it fully waterproof?

Yes. The IP67 rating means it is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to 1m deep for 30 minutes, so it suits areas where water pools or paving is pressure-washed.

What colour is the light?

A 3000K warm white, similar to a traditional halogen, giving enough light to mark a path edge without harsh glare.
