Description

The Solarium is a 10W LED outdoor spotlight with an integrated 3000K warm white LED housed in a cylindrical black aluminium body rated to IP68. The spotlight head tilts on an adjustable bracket, allowing the beam to be directed at ground-level features, architectural details, or up-lit onto trees and facades. The body is anodised and powder-coated in dark grey for corrosion resistance in exposed outdoor conditions.

Designed for garden feature lighting, pathway illumination and architectural accent, the Solarium can be installed two ways: ceiling-mounted beneath eaves and canopies, or spike-mounted into soil and gravel beds. The spike installation drives into soft ground to hold the spotlight at the desired angle without a fixed base or concrete pad. The adjustable head locks at any angle between horizontal and vertical, giving control over beam direction after installation.

The IP68 rating provides full protection against dust ingress and continuous submersion in water up to 1m depth, making the spotlight suitable for pond-edge installations, rain gardens, and areas prone to seasonal flooding. The 10W LED delivers approximately 900 lumens at 3000K, giving a warm white output that suits residential garden lighting without the cooler blue tones of higher Kelvin values. An optional anti-glare visor fits over the front lens to reduce spill light and narrow the beam spread for tighter feature lighting.

The aluminium construction and powder-coated finish resist salt spray, UV degradation and frost damage across UK climates. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to over 10 years at 8 hours per night. The spotlight runs on 230V mains and requires outdoor-rated cabling and connectors rated for buried or exposed installation depending on the mounting method chosen.
