Description

The Solari is a 2-light wall light pairing a white fabric rectangular shade with a chrome wall plate and an integrated LED reading light on a flexible gooseneck arm. The main E27 bulb sits inside the fabric shade and casts diffused ambient light, while the independent 3000K LED reading light projects from below the shade on a 150mm flexible arm that bends to direct light onto a book, laptop or bedside surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hotel rooms and reading corners, the Solari replaces the need for separate bedside and reading lights by combining both functions in a single wall-mounted fitting. The LED reading light operates on an independent switch, so it can be used alone without turning on the main shade light. The 225mm projection from the wall positions the shade far enough forward to light a bedside table or armchair position without the wall plate casting shadows.

The white fabric shade measures 320mm wide and sits on a satin glass diffuser that prevents visible bulb hotspots and spreads the light evenly across the fabric. The chrome wall plate and gooseneck arm add a metallic accent that pairs with modern and transitional interiors where chrome taps, handles or light switches are already present. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

What bulb does the main shade require?

The main shade takes one E27 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom lighting. The integrated LED reading light is pre-installed and operates at 3000K.

Can the reading light be used independently?

Yes. The LED reading light has an independent switch, so it can be used on its own without turning on the main E27 bulb inside the shade. This allows for focused reading light without filling the room with ambient light.

Is the reading light flexible?

The LED reading light sits on a flexible gooseneck arm approximately 150mm long, allowing it to be bent and directed towards a book, tablet or bedside surface. The arm holds its position once bent.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Solari to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any space where it may be exposed to moisture or steam.
