Description

The Sol is a 200mm rectangular LED wall light with a polished chrome aluminium base and a frosted acrylic diffuser over an integrated 6W LED module. The LED produces 540 lumens at 4000K cool white, giving a crisp, daylight-toned output suited to task-oriented spaces rather than ambient or decorative lighting.

Designed for modern hallways, offices, and utility areas, the Sol provides functional light rather than atmosphere. The 200mm width and 140mm height make it compact enough for narrow corridors or to be mounted in a series along a longer wall without overwhelming the space. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of door swings and furniture in tight spaces.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light, making the fitting more prominent in a room than a matt or brushed finish would. The frosted acrylic diffuser hides the LED strip inside and softens the light distribution, avoiding visible LED hotspots. At 0.4kg the fitting mounts directly onto plasterboard with standard wall fixings included. The LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable.

The integrated LED module draws 6W and produces 540lm of 4000K cool white light, giving a functional output without a separate lamp to source or replace. Running on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz, the fitting needs no transformer and wires into a standard switched wall circuit. The 3 year warranty covers the driver and LED over the life of the fitting. With the aluminium and frosted white finish and a weight of 0.4kg, the unit stays compact against the wall and keeps its clean rectangular shape whether lit or off.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at a fixed 6W output on mains switching only.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No IP rating is declared for the Sol Rectangular, so it is suitable for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in a bathroom zone where moisture or spray is present.

What is the light quality like at 4000K?

4000K is a cool white colour temperature, closer to daylight than the warm 2700K-3000K used in living rooms. It gives a clean, neutral light suited to task areas, offices and utility spaces rather than relaxed evening settings.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The module is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 10-15 years at typical domestic usage levels.
