Description
This snowy brewery light-up decoration sets a little Christmas village bar inside a triangular A-frame with a cream frame and a green roof. A 'Beer&Wine' sign trimmed with holly and a red bow hangs at the top, and beneath it a bartender in a Santa hat, red bow tie and blue waistcoat stands at the counter with a bottle in hand. A silver pipe runs from the roof to a brewing vessel on the side, while out front a table and two red stools stand against a grey brick-effect wall between two barrels. It stands 14cm tall, 12cm wide and 6.3cm deep.
Once its batteries are in, the inside of the bar lights up, so the bartender and his shelf of bottles glow against the panelled back wall. That makes it a cosy piece for a mantelpiece, an indoor windowsill, a bookcase or a Christmas village display on a sideboard, and its slim depth lets it sit on narrow ledges where larger scenes will not fit. It is for dry rooms indoors, such as a living room, hallway or dining room. Set it among other village pieces, or wrap it as a cheerful Christmas gift to start or grow a festive village.
The light runs on two AAA batteries, so there is no plug and no cable to hide, and you can place it wherever it looks best. Glittering snow sits along the roof edge and at the corners of the base, and every barrel, stool and sign is picked out in its own colour. To care for it, dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush, and take the batteries out before you pack it away at the end of the season. For a fuller scene, line it up beside cottages, shops or a church, and its lit bar will be the spot everyone looks at first on a winter evening.
