Description

This reed diffuser brings a fresh cotton fragrance into the home, with a friendly nod to the four-legged members of the household. The clear bottle wears an oval white label printed with two little paw prints and the words 'Smelly PAWS', with 'Fresh Cotton' and 'SCENTED DIFFUSER' set neatly beneath. White reeds rise from a warm brown cap at the neck, keeping the look clean, light and simple. The bottle holds 300ml and measures 16.5cm high, 7.5cm wide and 7.5cm deep, so it sits comfortably on a narrow shelf or the corner of a side table.

We think it suits the rooms where pets spend most of their day: the hallway, the boot room, the kitchen corner where the basket sits, or the living room where everyone settles in the evening. The playful label makes it a cheerful choice for anyone who shares their home with a pet, and it tends to raise a smile from visitors who know exactly who the 'smelly paws' belong to. It also makes an easy, good-humoured present for a friend whose household is run by its pets, and it sits just as happily in a guest bedroom or a home office.

There is nothing to plug in and no flame to watch: the reeds draw the fragrance up from the bottle and let it drift gently into the room. Turning the reeds over every so often refreshes the scent, and a soft dry cloth keeps the bottle and label free of dust. Stand it on a level surface where paws, tails and curious noses cannot knock it over, and away from polished furniture where a drip could mark. For a gift, it needs little more than a ribbon tied round the neck, and it looks at home on a windowsill or mantelpiece straight away.
