Description

This scented candle carries a fluffy yellow chick on its front label, wide-eyed and open-beaked, as if it has just caught the scent itself. Over the chick, in relaxed handwritten-style lettering, the label reads smells clucking good, with vanilla and tonka named just underneath. The wax is a soft cream, and the label is cream with a bright yellow border, so the colours stay warm and gentle. It is a round 250g candle, standing about 11cm tall and 8cm across, and it comes with a round lid in a light wood-grain finish.

We think it sits happily on a kitchen dresser, a bookshelf or a side table in the sitting room, where the chick can raise a smile before the wick is even lit. At about 11cm tall it fits a narrow shelf without crowding it, and the round shape looks tidy from every side.
