This pack of two smart LED GLS bulbs brings colour changing light and adjustable white to the classic bulb shape that most lamps take. Each bulb pairs an opal plastic shade with a white body and an E27 screw cap, and measures 11.8cm long and 6cm across. Each one draws 9W and gives 806lm, with white light you can set anywhere from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, as well as RGB colour changing light. The rating is IP20, and that settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms.

Fit them wherever a pendant, a table lamp or a pair of indoor wall lights takes an E27 cap. In a living room or bedroom you can keep a warm white through the evening, switch to a crisp cool white for reading or tidying, then pick a colour when friends visit. Because you control them by app, there is no need to swap bulbs to change the mood of a room. They also work with a remote control, which is sold separately and is not part of this pack. Buying two together gives you a matching pair, with the same shape, output and settings in each.

The opal plastic shade spreads the light from the LEDs into an even glow, so colours look smooth and whites look soft rather than harsh.
