Description

This smart golf ball bulb pairs an amber glass body with a spiral LED filament, a black collar and a small brass-coloured E14 screw cap. It is 10.5cm long and 4.5cm across, a compact size that sits neatly in wall lights, small pendants and table lamps that take an E14 cap. It uses 4.9W and gives 320lm, a soft level of light that suits a single lamp or a group of them together. Its IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only, so keep it well away from bathrooms and outside spaces.

As a smart bulb it is controlled by app, and it also works with a remote control, sold separately, if you prefer a handset to a phone. The colour temperature adjusts from 2700 to 6500K, so one bulb gives a warm, cosy light for a quiet evening in the living room and a crisp, cooler light for reading or working at a desk. It is dimmable too, which helps in bedrooms and dining rooms where you want the light low and gentle.
