Smart 22cm LED Pendant Light 20W 3000K - Sand Black

The Smart is a 222mm pendant light built around a wirework cage of vertical black metal rods that taper inward from a 222mm diameter at the top to approximately 120mm at the base, where a frosted acrylic diffuser panel sits behind the cage. A 20W integrated LED above the diffuser casts 1200lm of 3000K light downward through the panel, with the cage providing some sideways light diffusion while maintaining a directional throw beneath the fitting.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, hallway runs and over breakfast bars, the Smart works as a single pendant or in multiples spaced 600-900mm apart. The 1910mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop in rooms with ceiling heights up to 2.6m, with the minimum 410mm drop suiting lower-ceiling applications or flush-mount positions. The sand black finish is a textured matte coating that softens reflections and sits comfortably in both monochrome and warm-toned interiors.

The wirework cage gives the fitting a 1.5kg presence without appearing heavy, and the vertical rod arrangement creates linear shadow patterns when lit. The frosted diffuser hides the LED array and prevents direct glare when the pendant is viewed from below. The 1200lm output provides sufficient task light for food preparation or dining without needing additional overhead fittings in spaces up to 8-10m², though the fitting is not dimmable so brightness cannot be adjusted after installation.

Is the Smart dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED operates at fixed brightness on 220-240V mains and cannot be paired with dimmer switches.
