Description

The Slim is a 46cm diameter round LED pendant light with an integrated 50W 3000K LED panel housed behind a frosted white diffuser. The fitting consists of a flat circular disc suspended on a single cable from a white ceiling rose, with the LED panel built into the body so no separate bulb is needed. The 4250lm output and 140° beam angle provide wide ambient light across a room rather than focused task lighting.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centres where general illumination is needed from a single overhead source, the Slim suits ceiling heights between 2.4-3m. The 150-1500mm adjustable drop allows the disc to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or kitchen counter during installation. The white metal finish and frosted diffuser face pair with neutral, Scandi and modern interiors where minimal visual weight is preferred over focal point lighting.

The frosted white diffuser softens the LED light and hides the internal panel structure, so the fitting appears as a single clean disc when viewed from below. The 460mm diameter and 1.22kg weight give enough presence above a 1.2-1.6m table without overwhelming smaller rooms. The integrated LED runs at 50W on mains voltage with no dimmer compatibility, producing consistent 3000K warm white light across its rated lifespan.

Is the Slim dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and must be used on a standard on/off circuit.

What size dining table does it suit?

The 460mm diameter and 4250lm output work well above tables between 1.2m and 1.6m in length. For larger tables, consider pairing two Slim pendants in a row or choosing a larger diameter fitting.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by cutting the cable to the required length between 150mm and 1500mm. Once fitted, the drop cannot be adjusted without re-wiring.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply first. Wipe the white metal and frosted diffuser with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with water only. Do not use chemical sprays or polishes on the frosted surface.
