Slim 46cm Round LED Pendant Light 50W 3000K - Matt Black

The Slim is a 46cm diameter round LED pendant light with an ultra-thin circular profile, finished in matt black on the upper surface and fitted with a frosted white acrylic diffuser below. An integrated 50W LED delivers 4250 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 140° beam angle, distributed evenly through the diffuser to eliminate visible hotspots.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Slim provides general ambient lighting across a 3-4m zone directly beneath it. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to sit 700-800mm above a dining table or 600-900mm above a kitchen island depending on ceiling height and the desired light spread. The matt black upper housing absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the focus downward.

At just 1.22kg the Slim mounts to standard UK ceiling roses without additional support, and the thin 30mm-profile disc reads as almost weightless when suspended. The frosted diffuser hides the LED array completely, presenting as a single glowing plane when lit. The 4250 lumen output is equivalent to a traditional 250-300W incandescent bulb, making this a high-output general lighting solution rather than decorative accent lighting. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3 years under Mantra's warranty.

Is the Slim dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 4250 lumen output when switched on. If dimming is required, consider installing this on a switched circuit where it can be paired with other dimmable fittings controlled separately.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The minimum 150mm drop allows the fitting to be used in lower ceilings if needed.

What area does it light?

The 140° beam angle and 4250 lumen output provide general ambient lighting across a 3-4m diameter zone directly beneath the pendant. This makes it suitable as primary lighting for a dining table seating 6-8 or a kitchen island up to 2.5m long.

How is the diffuser cleaned?

The frosted acrylic diffuser can be wiped with a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can scratch or cloud the acrylic. The matt black upper housing can be dusted with a dry cloth.
