Description

The Sky-2 is a 400mm clear glass pendant light with a hand-blown glass shade that combines an upper dome and a lower flared skirt, suspended from a black painted metal canopy and cable. A single E27 bulb fitting sits centrally within the glass, visible through the transparent shade. The glass itself is mouth-blown, so each piece carries slight variation in thickness and form.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Sky-2 works as a single pendant over a small dining table or as part of a cluster of two or three over a kitchen island or breakfast bar. The 400mm diameter provides presence without dominating a typical 4-5m room. The glass shade diffuses light evenly across 360 degrees while the flared lower skirt directs additional light downward onto the surface below.

The clear glass and black metal combination pairs with both industrial and Scandinavian-influenced interiors, working alongside exposed brick, concrete, timber and white-painted surfaces. The shade weighs approximately 1.2kg when fitted, giving the pendant a substantial feel without requiring reinforced ceiling fittings.
