The Sky-1 is a 280mm glass pendant light with a hand-blown smoked glass dome shade suspended from a black painted metal canopy and holder. The shade tapers from a wide 280mm base to a narrower neck, creating a classic factory-style profile that directs light downwards while the smoked glass softens the output and adds a warm tonal quality to the light cast.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar areas where concentrated downlight is needed without harshness, the Sky-1 pairs well with warm-white E27 LED bulbs in the 2700K-3000K range. The 150mm shade height sits comfortably over worktops or dining surfaces when hung 700-900mm above the surface, and the dimmable fitting allows light levels to be adjusted from task brightness to ambient evening lighting. The IP20 rating restricts the pendant to dry indoor areas only.

The hand-blown glass shows slight variation in thickness and tonal density between individual pieces, a characteristic of the artisan production process. The smoked finish ranges from pale grey-brown to deeper amber-brown depending on how the glass catches light, and pairs comfortably with both industrial black metalwork schemes and warmer wood and brass interiors. The black metal frame uses a painted finish rather than powder-coat, giving a slightly softer sheen than typical factory-style pendants.
