Description

This hand painted metal trinket box takes the form of a little teddy bear, sitting with his legs stretched out in front and his arms held open. His coat is a soft cream, painted with fine strokes that give the look of fur, and he has round black eyes, a black button nose, a white muzzle and a small painted smile. Clear sparkling stones cover the pads of both feet, with a few more set into each ear, and a gold-coloured band runs around his middle where the box opens. He stands 6cm tall, 4.4cm across and 4.6cm deep, small enough to sit in the palm of your hand.

The bear opens at the waist on a small hinge, the top half lifting back to reveal a bright orange interior edged with gold-coloured rims. It makes a sweet hiding place for a ring, a pair of stud earrings or a tiny keepsake you want to keep close.
