Description
This miniature glass figurine takes the shape of a seated panda, its round white body set off by glossy black ears, eye patches, nose, arms and legs. The panda sits upright with its front paws curled in towards its tummy and its back legs tucked forward, a pose that gives it a gentle, settled look from every side. Its small black eyes are picked out with a pale ring, and turn it round and you will find a black band across its shoulders and a tiny white tail at the base. Standing 4cm tall, 3cm wide and 3cm deep, it is small enough to sit in the palm of your hand.
Being so small, it suits the places where a larger ornament would crowd things: a bookshelf, a bedside table, a windowsill or the corner of a desk. The white glass catches the light, so a spot near a window or a lamp shows off its glossy finish nicely. It also sits happily among other small figurines in a display cabinet or on a mantelpiece, where its clear black and white markings stand out against wood, painted shelves or glass. Because it is freestanding, it needs no hook, stand or wall, so you can move it from room to room whenever you like.
The figure is glass throughout, with a smooth, glossy surface, and it sits upright on its own back legs. As with any small glass piece, it is best kept on a level surface away from the edge of a shelf and handled gently. To keep it bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. It makes a charming little gift wrapped in tissue, and we think it looks especially sweet tucked beside a plant or a stack of books, where it can peep out at the room.

It stands 4cm tall and measures 3cm wide and 3cm deep, so it is a true miniature that fits easily on a narrow shelf or windowsill.
What is the panda figurine made of?
The panda is made of glass, with a smooth, glossy finish in white and black ears, eye patches, nose, arms and legs.
Does it need a stand or a hook?
No, it is freestanding and sits upright on its own back legs, so it simply rests on any level shelf, table or windowsill.
How do I clean the glass panda?
Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away to keep the glass bright.
