Sitting Capybara Miniature Glass Figurine - Orange

This little glass capybara figurine sits upright on its haunches, its front legs straight and its back feet tucked beneath it, with small ears and two dark eyes. It is made from warm orange glass that lets the light pass through, so it glows when the sun catches it. Look closely and you will see tiny air bubbles held inside the glass, a charming detail of a solid glass piece. At 4cm tall, 4cm across and 3.2cm deep, it is a true miniature, small enough to sit in the palm of your hand.

Being so small, it finds a home almost anywhere: a bookshelf, a desk beside the keyboard, a bedside table or a windowsill where the daylight can reach it. Capybaras are loved for their calm, unbothered look, and this one carries that easy-going character well, with its upright pose and steady gaze. It sits happily among other small glass animals or on its own as a quiet bit of fun on a mantelpiece or dressing table. A miniature like this also makes a thoughtful little present for anyone who smiles at the sight of a capybara, easy to wrap and easy to find a place for.

The figurine is solid glass, resting on its seat and feet so it stands on its own with no stand or fixing needed. It is a decorative piece rather than a toy, so place it back from the edge of a shelf where it will not be knocked. To keep it bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. For the best effect, set it where daylight falls across it, because the orange glass comes alive when light shines through. We like it beside a small green plant or a few smooth pebbles for a calm little scene.
