Description

The Sintesys Large is a 1140mm wide wall light built around two elongated petal-shaped metal arms finished in polished chrome on the outer surfaces and white on the inner diffuser faces. Each arm houses an integrated L1/SGU10 LED totalling 30W across the pair, producing 2700K warm white light. The arms curve outward from a central mounting point, creating a symmetrical horizontal span that sits 190mm tall and projects 80mm from the wall.

Designed for feature placement in living rooms, hallways and above console tables or sideboards, the Sintesys Large works in spaces where the wall width can accommodate its full 1.14m horizontal sweep without crowding. The polished chrome reflects surrounding finishes and daylight, while the white inner surfaces diffuse the LED output outward rather than casting direct downlight. The 80mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for circulation spaces where deeper projections would intrude.

The metal construction weighs 2.6kg and requires secure wall fixings into solid masonry or stud-backed plasterboard. The polished chrome finish shows fingerprints and requires occasional buffing with a microfibre cloth to maintain the reflective surface. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and cannot be replaced — the 2700K warm white colour temperature is fixed. Is the Sintesys dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and the fitting is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The expected lifespan is typical of commercial LED modules, usually 20,000+ hours under normal domestic use.

What wall width is needed?

The fitting spans 1140mm horizontally, so the wall should be at least 1.2m wide to avoid the arms appearing cramped. It works well centred on walls between 1.5-2.5m wide.

What fixings are required?

At 2.6kg, the fitting requires secure wall fixings into solid masonry (using wall plugs and screws) or stud-backed plasterboard with appropriate cavity fixings. The mounting plate must be level to keep the horizontal arms aligned.
