Sintesys 3 Light Bar Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The Sintesys is a 3 light bar pendant built around a 900mm polished chrome bar supporting three curved shade elements in polished chrome with white inner diffusers. Each shade forms a tapered, wave-like profile approximately 400mm tall, housing a single SGU10 bulb (included). The shades hang at equal spacing along the bar, creating a linear composition suited to dining tables and kitchen islands.

Designed for installation above surfaces where the light source needs to be distributed evenly across a rectangular area, the Sintesys works in dining rooms with tables 1.6-2.2m long, and kitchen islands of similar length. The drop is adjustable between 500mm minimum and 1500mm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a table surface in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The polished chrome bar fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The polished chrome outer surface of each shade contrasts with the white inner diffuser, which softens the light from the 2700K warm white SGU10 bulbs and reduces glare when viewed from seated positions below. The curved profile gives each shade dimensional depth under daylight and creates overlapping reflections when multiple ceiling or wall lights are present in the same room. The combined weight of 3.5kg requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Sintesys comes with three SGU10 CFL bulbs rated at 2700K warm white. These are non-dimmable compact fluorescent lamps. SGU10 is a pin-base fitting compatible with standard GU10 sockets.

What table length does the 900mm bar suit?

The 900mm bar works over dining tables or kitchen islands between 1.6m and 2.2m long. For longer tables, consider positioning the pendant towards one end rather than centred, or combining with additional lighting sources.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by cutting the suspension cables to the desired length between 500mm and 1500mm. Once installed, the drop cannot be easily adjusted without re-fitting.

How is the polished chrome maintained?

Wipe the chrome surfaces with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with water only. Avoid household sprays and abrasive cleaners, which can damage the polished finish.
