Description

The Knightsbridge SN127P is a single-gang 16mm-depth architrave pattress box in white thermoset resin, designed for mounting wiring accessories in narrow wall spaces where a standard 25mm or 35mm back box will not fit. The 86mm x 33mm faceplate footprint suits architrave trim around doorframes, window reveals, and skirting-adjacent positions where wall depth is limited.

The box fits behind any single-gang Knightsbridge Square Edge (SN) series switch or socket, and is also compatible with general-purpose single-gang accessories from other manufacturers that share standard UK mounting centres. The 16mm internal depth accommodates basic single-gang wiring terminations without requiring the wall to be chased deeper than the surface plasterwork allows. An integral earth terminal provides safe grounding for metal faceplates.

Constructed from thermoset resin rather than thermoplastic, the box resists deformation under heat and maintains dimensional stability when cables are dressed tightly inside. The white finish blends with standard white plaster or painted surfaces. The anti-microbial properties are third-party tested to ISO 22196:2011, making the box suitable for healthcare, hospitality and food-preparation environments where surface hygiene matters.
