Description
This silverplated horse shoe hangs from a soft white ribbon and carries a small engraving plate at the base of its curve, ready for a name, a date or a few words of your own. Two rows of clear stones run around the shoe on either side of the plate, each one held in a neat round setting against a finely dotted silver ground, so the face catches the light as it turns. The finish is real silverplate over metal, bright and polished, and the oval plate is left smooth and plain. It measures 9.9cm at its widest across the face and 0.8cm deep, a small piece that sits easily in the hand.
With its ribbon loop, it hangs wherever there is a hook, a peg or a handle: a bedroom door, a hallway coat peg, the corner of a dressing table mirror or a window catch where the stones can pick up the daylight. At only 0.8cm deep it lies close and flat against a door or wall rather than standing out from it. Because the plate takes engraving, it makes a thoughtful personal gift, finished with the name or date that means most to the person receiving it, and a keepsake they can hang somewhere they will see it every day.
The stones are set into the face of the shoe, and the ribbon is threaded through the top of each arm, so it hangs with the open end upward. The plate comes plain, ready for your own engraver; we do not engrave or personalise it ourselves. To keep the silverplate bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth and avoid polishes and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the plating and cloud the stones. For a gift, wrap it in tissue with the ribbon folded on top, or have it engraved first so it is ready to hang the day it is opened.

Frequently Asked
How big is the silverplated horse shoe?
It measures 9.9cm at its widest across the face and 0.8cm deep, so it is small enough to hang from a door handle, a hook or a mirror corner.
Can the horse shoe be engraved?
Yes, there is a smooth oval plate at the base of the curve. It comes plain, ready for your own engraver, and we do not engrave or personalise it ourselves.
How does it hang?
A white ribbon is threaded through the top of each arm to form a loop, so it hangs with the open end upward from a hook, a peg or a handle.
What is it made of?
It is metal with a real silverplated finish, set with two rows of clear stones around the shoe and a plain oval plate at the base.
How do I keep it looking bright?
Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth and avoid polishes and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the silverplate and cloud the clear stones over time.
