Description

An ornament, 6cm tall, in silver. At 38cm wide it is about the width of a laptop. Pieces of the same material group better than pieces of the same subject. Three different forms in one finish read as a set; three of the same animal read as a collection someone else started.

Silver and chrome sit comfortably with grey, blue and black schemes where a warm metal would fight them.

Scale is decided by what it stands on, not by what it is. A 50cm piece needs a console or a floor; the same form at 15cm is a shelf object, and neither works in the other's place.

Dusting is all it asks for, with a damp cloth on the finish and nothing solvent or abrasive.
