Description

This Mantra silk string lampshade measures 8cm at the top rim, 13cm at the base and 11cm in height, with finely stretched silk threads wound around a wire frame to form a textured conical shade. The green silk produces a soft, diffused light when fitted over a small E14 or E27 bulb, with the individual threads visible as vertical ribbing when the lamp is lit.

Designed for clip-on or gimbal fittings on small table lamps, wall lights and pendant drops, the shade suits bedside lamps, desk lamps and accent lighting where a compact shade is needed. The 8cm top aperture fits standard small lamp fittings, and the lightweight 0.1kg construction means it can be used on adjustable arm lamps without affecting balance. The green tone pairs with botanical interiors, light oak furniture and neutral walls where a colour accent is wanted without committing to a full room scheme.

The silk string construction allows light to pass between the individual threads, creating a softer glow than solid fabric shades and showing the texture of the material more clearly when the lamp is switched on.
