This Mantra silk string lampshade forms a tapered drum from precision-wrapped silk threads, moving from a 19cm base diameter to a 30cm top diameter across a 19.5cm height. The amber-cream tone is woven into the silk itself rather than dyed onto fabric, so the colour remains consistent when lit and unlit. The silk threads run vertically in parallel, creating a smooth ribbed surface without visible seams or joins.

Designed for table lamps and floor lamps with standard ES (E27) or BC (B22) fittings, the shade fits onto a duplex ring fitting (also known as a spider fitting) that sits inside the shade's top aperture. The 30cm top diameter works well on lamp bases between 20-35cm wide, balancing the proportions of bedside tables, side tables and console positions. The amber-cream hue casts a warm golden glow when paired with 2700K-3000K LED or halogen bulbs.
