Description
The Sigmund is a 6-light outdoor wall light built from die-cast aluminium with a graphite powder-coated finish, housing six integrated 3W LEDs across two independently rotating banks. Each bank of three LEDs rotates up to 320° on its axis, allowing both banks to be angled in different directions to light separate areas from a single mounting point.
Designed for exterior walls where directed security or accent lighting is needed, the Sigmund suits driveways, front entrances, garden walls and garage corners. The IP65 rating means the housing is fully sealed against dust and protected against water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed positions under eaves, on boundary walls, or in coastal locations. The compact 210mm width and 250mm projection from the wall mean the fitting sits low-profile on rendered or brick surfaces without dominating the facade.
The graphite finish is a mid-toned dark grey that pairs with anthracite windows, charcoal cladding and slate roofing common in UK residential and commercial builds. The die-cast aluminium construction gives the fitting a solid 1.2kg weight and maintains dimensional stability across seasonal temperature shifts. The 3000K LED colour temperature produces a warm white output rather than the cooler blue-white of 4000K+ security lighting, reducing harsh shadows and making the light less stark against warm-toned render or brickwork.
The dual-bank rotation allows one set of three LEDs to wash down a wall or path while the other set angles up to light an entrance soffit, or both can be angled outward to illuminate either side of a corner installation. This flexibility removes the need for multiple single-direction fittings where a corner or L-shaped wall requires coverage in more than one plane.

Frequently Asked
Can each bank of LEDs be angled independently?
Yes. Each bank of three LEDs rotates independently by up to 320° on its own axis, allowing one bank to light downward onto a path while the other angles up to light an entrance soffit, or both to angle outward on a corner installation.
What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?
IP65 means the housing is fully sealed against dust (IP6X) and protected against water jets from any direction (IPX5). The fitting can be installed in exposed positions without eaves cover, including on boundary walls, garage corners and coastal properties subject to wind-driven rain.
How is the fitting mounted?
The backplate fixes to a standard UK double-gang electrical back box or directly to a masonry surface with the included fixings. The 250mm projection from the wall means the fitting clears most render thicknesses and window cills without obstruction.
What colour temperature are the LEDs?
The integrated LEDs output warm white light at 3000K. This is warmer than typical 4000K+ security lighting and reduces the harsh blue-white cast on rendered walls and brickwork, making the light feel less clinical in residential settings.
