Siena 40cm 1 Light Crystal Pendant Light - Antique Brass & Amber

The Siena is a 40cm pendant light built around an amber pleated silk shade with an antique brass frame and cascading crystal droplets. The shade sits on a brass frame with four vertical arms that extend from a square ceiling plate, and each arm carries crystal pendalogues that hang below the shade. A single amber crystal sphere hangs from the bottom of the shade as a central accent. Three E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the shade behind a frosted diffuser, casting warm light through the pleated silk.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Siena pairs traditional fabric-shade construction with the decorative detail of a chandelier. The 520mm minimum drop works in standard-height rooms when positioned over a table or sideboard, while the 2200mm maximum drop suits double-height spaces and stairwells. The amber silk filters light to a warm cream glow, and the crystal droplets refract the light into small points that move across walls and ceilings as air currents shift the crystals.

The antique brass finish has a matte, aged patina that sits between polished brass and bronze, reading as a soft gold-brown under daylight and deepening to a copper tone under warm artificial light. The rectangular arms provide a geometric counterpoint to the tapered silk shade and organic crystal forms. The 2kg weight requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting pendants, and the E27 fittings accept LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the specification table.

What bulbs does the Siena take?

The pendant takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the amber silk shade. Check the Specification tab for the maximum wattage per bulb.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The pendant itself has no built-in dimming function — dimming is controlled at the wall switch or bulb level.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 520mm minimum drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when the pendant is positioned over a dining table or sideboard. For stairwells and double-height spaces, the drop is adjustable up to 2200mm on installation.

How are the crystal droplets attached?

The crystal pendalogues hang on metal loops from the brass arms. They can be removed for cleaning or reconfigured if needed, though they arrive pre-assembled from Mantra.
