Description

The Siena is a 550mm 4-light chandelier built around four polished brass arms radiating from a central brass column, each carrying an amber silk string shade and an E14 bulb fitting. Beneath each arm hangs a faceted crystal droplet, with a larger suspended crystal sphere at the centre adding depth and light refraction when the fitting is illuminated.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Siena provides ambient light through the silk shades while the crystal elements introduce decorative sparkle. The 600-780mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to sit 750-850mm above a dining table or lower in rooms with taller ceilings. The polished brass finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with both traditional wood-toned interiors and contemporary warm metallics.

Each amber silk string shade is lined to diffuse the light from the E14 bulb inside, turning what would be direct downlight into a softer, warmer wash. The crystal droplets are individually faceted and catch light from the bulbs above, adding movement and visual interest when the chandelier is on. The fitting weighs 2.2kg and requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting that load plus the weight of four bulbs.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself contains no electronics that would prevent dimming.

What bulbs does it take?

Four E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to complement the amber shades.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 600-780mm adjustable drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 750-850mm above the surface, which suits standard 2.4m ceilings if the minimum drop is used, but benefits from taller ceilings for better proportions.

Can the crystal droplets be removed?

The crystal droplets are attached to the brass arms with wire loops and can be removed for cleaning or if a simpler look is preferred, though this would leave the wire loops visible on the arms.
