Description

Our Sibuco candle holder is a tall column of handmade aluminium in a nickel finish, 36.5cm tall and 10.5cm across. At its middle, the cylinder pinches into a twisted waist covered in a hammered texture, as if the metal had been wrung by hand, while the smooth sections either side catch the light. The finish is a bright silver with a gently mottled, softly clouded surface in places, so it reads as worked metal rather than polished chrome. The top is a round recess with a neat rim, ready to take a candle.

At this height it works as a centrepiece on its own, on a dining table, a sideboard or a mantelpiece, where it lifts a candle flame well clear of the surface. It also sits comfortably beside shorter holders, giving a grouping some height and a natural focal point.
