Description

The Shoal is a 306mm cylindrical pendant light built around a drum of faceted crystal prisms held within a polished nickel frame. A single E27 bulb sits inside the crystal cage, sending light through the prism facets to cast refracted patterns across walls and ceilings. The polished nickel canopy and rod suspension provide structural support and a reflective finish that amplifies the crystal's light play.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Shoal provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 404mm minimum to 1379mm maximum on installation, allowing the pendant to sit 700-900mm above a dining surface or at eye level in a double-height hallway. The 306mm diameter suits tables and islands in the 1.2-1.8m range without overwhelming smaller spaces.

Each crystal prism is cut with multiple facets that catch and bend light depending on viewing angle, so the pendant looks different from different positions in the room. The polished nickel frame has a bright, mirror-like finish that contrasts with the frosted edges of the crystal cuts. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and bulb style to suit the interior.
