Description

The Knightsbridge shaver socket combines a 230V AC shaver outlet with dual USB charging ports (one USB-A and one USB-C) behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a grey insert. The socket delivers 20VA at 230V for electric shavers and toothbrushes, while the USB ports share a combined 5V DC 2.4A output for charging phones, tablets and other devices.

Designed for bathroom installation, the socket carries an IP41 rating, protecting against solid objects larger than 1mm and vertically-falling water droplets. This makes it suitable for use outside direct spray zones (Zone 3 and outside zones under UK bathroom wiring regulations). The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings and giving a clean finished appearance. The built-in gasket between the plate and wall provides additional moisture resistance.

The socket requires a minimum 47mm back box depth for installation and projects just 4.3mm from the wall once fitted. The brushed chrome finish pairs with modern bathroom brassware and matches other Knightsbridge accessories in the same range.
