Description

The Share is an 85mm recessed downlight with a matt gold reflector bowl set inside a black aluminium bezel, built on a swivel mechanism that tilts up to 25° in any direction. The fitting takes a standard GU10 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 15W and mounts into ceiling voids with a minimum 80mm depth above the plasterboard line.

Designed for accent lighting, feature wall washing and directional task lighting in living rooms, hallways, kitchens and commercial interiors, the swivel head allows the beam to be angled towards artwork, shelving, architectural detail or seating zones after installation. The 25° tilt range is enough to shift a focused beam by approximately 500mm across a 2m distance, giving flexibility to adjust coverage without re-cutting ceiling apertures.

The black outer bezel sits flush with the ceiling plane once installed, while the recessed matt gold reflector adds warmth to the emitted light and provides a visible accent when the fitting is viewed from below. The aluminium construction dissipates heat efficiently, extending bulb life and maintaining colour stability over the fitting's operational hours. The IP20 rating limits the Share to dry indoor environments away from direct water contact.

Frequently Asked

What ceiling void depth is required?

The fitting requires a minimum 80mm void depth above the plasterboard to accommodate the GU10 lamp holder and swivel housing. The visible bezel sits 3.7cm below ceiling level once installed.

What bulb does it take?

The Share takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 15W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 5-7W and 3000K for warm accent lighting or 4000K for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Share to dry indoor environments. For bathroom zones, look for downlights rated IP44 or higher.

How much can the swivel be adjusted after installation?

The head tilts up to 25° from the vertical plane in any direction. On a typical 2.4m ceiling height, this shifts the centre of the beam by approximately 1.1m across a floor or wall surface, allowing coverage adjustments without re-cutting the ceiling aperture.
