Description

This set of four heart coasters is made of charcoal slate, and each one carries a spray of wild flowers with a few warm words in white lettering. The four lines read "sit down & RELAX", "put your feet UP", "love you MUM" and "love you NANA", so every coaster says something different. Yellow buttercups, white daisies, heads of cow parsley and sprigs of pink and lilac blooms sit among fresh green leaves, bright against the dark slate. Each heart measures 10cm across and 10cm from top to point, and is 1cm deep, with a rough, natural edge.

These are coasters for the everyday pause: somewhere to set down a morning tea on the kitchen table, a glass by the sofa or a mug beside the armchair at the end of a long day. The two "love you" hearts make the set an easy gift for Mum or for Nana, and a thoughtful one for any grandmother who likes her cuppa with a little garden colour.
