Description

This set of two stoneware mugs is made for new grandparents, with the word "Grandparent" printed in gold on one side of each mug and a little night sky drawn around it. Gold cloud outlines curve along the base, while a crescent moon, scattered stars and a tiny shooting star with a dotted trail twinkle near the rim. Turn the mug around and the other side carries a gentle verse in the same gold: "Grandparents hold our hands for a little while but our hearts forever". Each mug is white with a squat, tapered body that narrows towards the rim, a rounded handle and a neat foot. Each one holds 300ml, a good size for a proper cup of tea, and stands 8.6cm tall, 10.2cm wide and 12.4cm deep.

With two matching mugs in the set, there is one for a grandmother and one for a grandfather, so they can sit down together over a hot drink when the family comes round.
