Description
This pair of gloss ceramic planters carries two of the kindest words we know, with LOVE on one and HOPE on the other, raised in sandy beige letters around the side of each pot. The larger planter wears a soft pink glaze and the smaller one a deep green, and both are round with a gently curved foot. Slim raised bands circle each rim and run below the lettering in the same sandy beige as the words, so the colour sits between them like a broad stripe, and that warm beige tone returns at the base.
We think they look happiest together, side by side on a kitchen windowsill, a bookshelf or a sideboard, where the two heights make a neat little pairing and the words read one after the other. They work just as well apart, with LOVE on a bedside table and HOPE on a desk where it catches your eye on a busy day. Both make a lovely cover pot for a houseplant in its own nursery pot, whether that is a trailing pothos, a small fern, a pot of kitchen herbs or a cluster of succulents. The pink and green sit happily against white walls, warm wood and natural linen alike.
Each planter is ceramic, finished in a glossy glaze that catches the light, while the raised lettering and bands keep a softer, sandy look that gives the pair a relaxed, homely feel. Keeping the plant in its own plastic pot inside makes watering and repotting simple and keeps the inside of the glaze clean. To care for them, wipe them over with a damp cloth and dry with a soft one. As a gift, the words do most of the talking, so they make a warm present that needs very little said in the card.

Frequently Asked
What words are on the planters?
One planter reads LOVE and the other reads HOPE, each word raised in sandy beige letters that run around the side of the pot.
Are the two planters the same size?
No, the pink LOVE planter is the larger of the two and the green HOPE planter is smaller, so they sit at different heights side by side.
What are the planters made of?
Both are ceramic with a glossy glaze, while the raised bands, the lettering and the base are left in a softer sandy beige tone.
What colours are they?
The LOVE planter is a soft pink and the HOPE planter is a deep green, and both carry the same sandy beige bands, letters and base.
How should I put a plant in them?
We suggest using them as cover pots, keeping your plant in its own plastic nursery pot inside, which makes watering and repotting much easier.
How do I clean the planters?
Wipe the glazed ceramic over with a damp cloth and dry it with a soft one, which is all the glaze and raised lettering need.
