Description

This set of two studded storage boxes is made in the style of old travel luggage, with a white finish, pale blue edging and a row of silver-coloured studs along every edge. Each box carries the words "That's what little boys are made of" across the front, set between a pencil-style sketch of a sailing boat and a sitting puppy, while the top of the smaller box asks "What are little boys made of?" above a drawing of two little boys. Both are made from MDF and close with a silver-coloured clasp at the front, with metal carry handles at the sides. The larger box stands 27cm high, 44.5cm wide and 27cm deep.

We think they suit a baby or toddler's room best, for little ones up to three. The larger box takes folded blankets, muslins or soft toys, and the smaller one is a good home for first shoes, cards and the small things you want to keep from those early years. Stacked at the foot of a cot or on a shelf, they keep a room tidy. They are storage pieces for the room rather than toys, so they are best opened and filled by grown-ups.
