Description
This set of two champagne coupes pairs wide, rounded bowls with a scatter of gold daisies and bright, contrasting stems. Each coupe stands 14.5cm tall and 10cm across, holding 160ml, room for a proper pour of champagne. The two match in pattern but not in colour. One has an aqua-tinted bowl with an orange rim, a pink stem and an orange foot. The other has a pink-tinted bowl with a teal rim, an orange stem and a teal foot. The daisies run all the way round each bowl, so the pattern looks just as cheerful from every side of the table.
The wide, shallow coupe shape has long been a favourite for champagne and sparkling wine, and it suits a cocktail served straight up just as well. We like these on a dining table set for friends, on a drinks trolley or at the end of a garden lunch, where the pink, orange, aqua and teal catch the eye before anyone has poured a drop. Between uses they sit happily on an open shelf or dresser, adding a little colour to the kitchen or dining room. Because the two coupes are in different colourways, each person has their own coupe and nobody mixes up their drink.
Each coupe has a solid coloured stem and a wide, flat foot that gives it a steady stance on the table, and a fine coloured line finishes the rim. The gold daisies sit across the outside of the bowl, and they show through as a softer pattern inside the bowl. As good general practice for decorated drinkware, we would wash them gently by hand and dry them with a soft cloth to keep the gold bright. As a gift, a pair of coupes is easy to choose and easy to share: add a bottle of something sparkling and the present is complete.

Frequently Asked
How big are these champagne coupes?
Each coupe stands 14.5cm tall and measures 10cm across, and each one holds 160ml, a comfortable pour of champagne or a cocktail.
Are the two coupes the same colour?
No. One has an aqua-tinted bowl with an orange rim, pink stem and orange foot. The other has a pink-tinted bowl with a teal rim, orange stem and teal foot. Both carry the same gold daisies.
What drinks suit a coupe like this?
The wide, shallow bowl is a classic shape for champagne and sparkling wine, and it works just as well for a cocktail served straight up without ice.
How should I look after the gold daisy decoration?
As good general practice for decorated drinkware, we would wash them gently by hand and dry them with a soft cloth, which helps keep the gold daisies bright.
Do they make a nice gift?
We think so. You get two coupes in contrasting colours, so they are ready to share, and they pair naturally with a bottle of something sparkling.
