The Sermessa is a single-tube tri-proof batten in grey, a long, slim working light with a grey plastic body and a clear plastic diffuser held shut by clip fastenings along its length. It measures 155.8cm long, 7.3cm wide and 5.6cm high. The light source is a G13 tube rated at 2,600lm, with a colour temperature of 4000K: a neutral white, neither warm nor cold, that suits practical jobs. Its IP65 rating is the deciding fact, because it means the fitting is sealed against dust and protected from jets of water, so it can live outside on a house wall as well as indoors in a dusty or damp room.
