Description
The Seravyn is a 660mm alabaster table lamp built around a rectangular column of natural Spanish alabaster, capped with a tapered white PVC shade and finished with brass detailing throughout. A slim brass stem rises from the stone body to a polished brass ball finial at the top of the shade, while twin brass pull-chain switches drop either side of the column. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately).
Sized for bedside tables, console tables and sideboards, the 380mm shade diameter and 660mm overall height suit furniture with a surface depth of 350mm or more. The twin pull-chain switching means the lamp can be operated independently of a wall switch, which works well for bedside use where reaching a switched socket is inconvenient. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs, giving flexibility over brightness and colour temperature.
The alabaster column shows the natural veining, mineral inclusions and subtle tonal variation typical of hand-cut Spanish stone, so each Seravyn looks slightly different in the light. A brass inset runs along the face of the column, breaking up the stone surface with a warm metallic accent that ties into the brass stem, finial and base plate. The crisp white PVC shade has a gently tapered silhouette that balances the visual weight of the stone beneath without competing with it.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Seravyn take?
The lamp takes a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K, which complements the natural tone of the alabaster and gives a soft bedside or sideboard light.
How is the lamp switched?
The Seravyn uses twin brass pull-chain switches that drop from the lamp head either side of the alabaster column. This means the lamp can be turned on and off at the fitting itself, without needing a switched socket on the wall.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the stone rather than a defect, and the differences become more visible when the lamp is lit.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water, as moisture can mark the surface over time.
