Description
The Seraphis is a 1000mm alabaster ring chandelier built around a single circular band of natural Spanish alabaster with a 60mm section depth. Four fine suspension cables rise from the ring to a brushed brass canopy, holding the stone horizontally as a complete luminous halo. An integrated 3000K LED runs inside the ring, lighting the alabaster from within so the stone itself becomes the diffuser.
At one metre across, the Seraphis is sized for dining tables of 1.6m or longer, larger kitchen islands, double-height entrance halls and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights from 2.7m upwards. The horizontal ring format casts a wide, even pool of warm light directly downwards, making it well suited to dining use where the band sits 750-850mm above the table surface. The brushed brass canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose, and the steel suspension cables are adjustable on installation.
Each ring is carved from solid alabaster, so the veining, tonal clouding and translucency vary across the circumference and between individual pieces. The honed surface keeps the natural mineral structure visible, with denser opaque areas reading against more translucent sections when the LED is lit. The 60mm section gives the ring a defined sculptural profile rather than a thin band, and the brushed brass cable terminations and canopy pick up warmth from the stone without competing with it.

Frequently Asked
What size room does the Seraphis suit?
The 1000mm diameter ring is sized for larger spaces: dining tables of 1.6m or longer, kitchen islands of 2m+, entrance halls and open-plan living rooms with ceiling heights from 2.7m upwards. In smaller rooms the ring will dominate the ceiling plane, so a smaller pendant is usually a better fit.
How high should it be hung above a dining table?
Standard practice is to hang the ring so the underside sits 750-850mm above the table surface. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, so the drop can be tuned to suit your ceiling height and table proportions.
Does each alabaster ring look the same?
No. The ring is carved from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal clouding and translucency vary between pieces. When lit, denser opaque sections read against more translucent areas around the circumference. This natural variation is a feature of the material rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid soaking the stone, and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners — alabaster is porous and softer than marble, and chemical cleaners can dull or stain the surface.
