Description

The Seraph is a 640mm five-arm chandelier with hand-forged metalwork finished in copper with an applied antique patina. Five E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit on curved arms that loop outward and back in toward a central column, each arm decorated with wire scrollwork between the bulb holder and the central body. The copper finish shows tonal variation across the surface where the antique treatment has darkened into the recesses of the forged detail.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Seraph provides ambient and decorative light across a 3-4m space. The 450mm drop from ceiling rose to the lowest point of the frame works above a dining table where the chandelier typically hangs 750-850mm above the table surface. The five arms distribute light evenly outward, reducing harsh shadows under the fitting. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — pair with dimmable E14 LEDs to control light output through the evening.

Each chandelier is hand-shaped from metal rod and wire, so arm curvature and scrollwork detail vary slightly between individual pieces. The copper finish is applied by hand and then treated with an antiquing agent that accelerates natural oxidation, giving the metal a lived-in patina rather than a bright polished surface.
