Sena 5 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Black & Brushed Gold

The Sena is a 5-light semi-flush ceiling fitting built around six brushed gold arms radiating from a central matt black canopy, with a matt black E27 lampholder at the end of each arm. The arms extend at fixed angles, creating a horizontal spoke pattern 452mm in diameter with a 196mm projection from the ceiling. Each lampholder accepts a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose exposed filament lamps or standard LED bulbs.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above, the Sena sits close enough to the ceiling to avoid head clearance issues in hallways and landings while providing distributed light across a wider area than a single pendant. The semi-flush format suits dining rooms, bedrooms, open-plan living spaces and offices where a chandelier would hang too low but a flush ceiling light would lack presence. The 452mm spread suits rooms between 3m and 5m square.

The pressed steel construction combines matt black finish on the canopy and lampholders with brushed gold on the arms, creating contrast without relying on high-polish brass that can look dated in contemporary interiors. The Class I earthing requires a wired earth connection during installation. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs fitted — dimmable LED E27 bulbs will give full dimming range, while non-dimmable LEDs will not dim at all.

What bulbs does it take?

The Sena takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit exposed filament LED bulbs in warm white (2200K-2700K) to suit the industrial aesthetic, though standard frosted LED bulbs work equally well.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 196mm projection from ceiling to the lowest point of the lampholders makes it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, where a traditional pendant would hang too low.

Can it be dimmed?

Dimming depends entirely on the bulbs fitted. Pair the Sena with dimmable LED E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch for full dimming range. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of switch type.

What room size does it suit?

The 452mm diameter provides even light distribution in rooms between 3m and 5m square. Larger rooms may benefit from two Sena fittings or pairing with additional task lighting.
