Description

The Scout is a 165mm square outdoor wall light with a satin white powder-coated metal body, downward GU10 LED fitting, and decorative exposed screws at each corner. The fitting is supplied with one 8W 3000K GU10 LED bulb and is rated IP44 for outdoor use in covered or exposed positions where dust and splashed water are present.

Designed for porch entrances, covered patios and pathway lighting, the Scout casts downward illumination to light steps, door thresholds and immediate ground areas beneath the fitting. The 165mm width and 120mm projection suit doorways between 750-900mm wide and external walls where a compact fitting is needed that does not protrude into narrow walkways. The satin white finish pairs with white-painted render, PVC window frames and pale masonry.

The body is constructed from metal with a powder-coated satin white finish that resists UV fade and moisture ingress. The decorative screws at each corner of the front plate serve both a functional fixing role and a visual detail that breaks up the plain square profile. The fitting mounts onto a standard UK outdoor back box with cable entry from the rear. Hinkley covers the Scout with a 5-year manufacturer guarantee.
