Description

The Sayulita is a ceiling fan with light in one round, low-profile body: a white housing, an opal acrylic ring that glows when the light is lit, and a black grille with the fan blades sitting behind it. It is 45.5cm across and 20.5cm high, and the shallow shape keeps it close to the ceiling, which suits rooms where headroom matters. The light is integrated LED with an output of 9,600 lumens, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because it moves air and lights the room from a single fitting, it makes good sense in a bedroom, a home office, a study or a living room that gets warm in summer. The colour temperature adjusts from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, so the same light can be soft and restful in the evening and crisp and clear while you work. It dims as well, and there is a timer, handy if you like a breeze while you fall asleep. The direction is reversible too, which lets you change how the air moves around the room.

A remote control comes in the box and runs on AAA batteries. The body is ABS in white and black, the shade ring is opal acrylic, and the whole fan weighs 1.9KG. It runs from 220-230V, 50/60Hz mains and has no switch of its own, so it is switched at the wall, and as a wired-in mains fitting it is installed by a qualified electrician. The LED and the driver can be replaced by a specialist, so a worn light source need not mean replacing the whole fan. The installation instructions come as a download.
