Description

The Saxon is a single-light wall light built from wrought iron with a black powder-coated finish, featuring a beaten metal backplate and a candle-style E14 bulb holder on a turned metal arm. The backplate sits 125mm proud of the wall and supports the holder via a decorative arm with turned detailing and a drip tray beneath the bulb socket. The beaten texture on the metal panel catches ambient light and adds visual depth to the flat black finish.

Designed for hallways, landings, living rooms and entrance areas where a traditional or Gothic aesthetic is wanted, the Saxon provides accent lighting rather than primary illumination. The single E14 bulb (sold separately) sits above the metal drip tray in a candle-effect position, giving warm ambient light when paired with a flame-tip or clear filament LED bulb. The 170mm height and 100mm width suit smaller wall sections or spaces where multiple fittings are used in a run.

The wrought iron construction gives the fitting a substantial feel despite its compact footprint, and the black finish works across traditional Tudor-revival interiors, industrial-Gothic schemes, and darker contemporary settings. The E14 socket accepts LED candle bulbs from 4-6W or incandescent up to 60W, allowing flexibility in light output and colour temperature.
